Have Any Of You Used The Lamaze Close Comfort Sling Carrier?
I can’t afford the Native sling that i’d prefer but have been looking at this sling. I have a front carrier but both my girls absaloutly hated it when they were born and we’d have to use it. I was always unable to get them in it by myself too so i’m wanting a sling instead.
I’ve read the reviews on this about it hurting peoples shoulders and backs, i’m not worried about that since i’ll only be wearing the sling for my baby due in 2 weeks only when my two young girls go to playgroup and when i have to go grocery shopping.
So have any of you used this sling? Does it have a buckle inside, see, i’m terrified with slings that the baby is going to fall out because they show no kind of harness inside and this sling doesn’t state whether it has a harness inside or not to prevent the baby from falling.
Opinions please.

The baby isn’t going to fall out of a sling with no harness if you have it on correctly.
The sling will act like hammock, cradling the baby’s bottom & shoulders. The sling & baby will move with your movements, making it far more secure than a “traditional” front-carrier.
Yes, this particular sling has a harness… The harness combined with the restrictive shape severely limit its usefulness. You cannot snug a baby in securely with this sling — it’s actually far LESS secure, because your baby cannot be positioned correctly
If you can’t afford a real sling, consider shopping some of the used baby stores in your town. You can usually find a used one pretty cheap (or possibly a locally-made one).

Practice with a sack of flour before your baby gets here. (I like a sack of flour, rather than a doll or bear, because of the weight: It makes it act more like a real baby.)
But, quite frankly, I threw away the sling you’re asking about.
