What is the best infant carrier, wrap or sling?
We have been all over the place looking at all the wraps and trying them and such, but I was just wondering what you all thought was the best out there. I have heard great things about the Bjorn, but I have read that it isn’t good for the baby’s spine. I also like the Moby wraps and Maya wraps. I’m just wondering what is the best for baby! If it helps, I will be wearing him or her quite a bit! Thanks in advance!
I have 3 kids (and a 4th on the way) and stumbled upon the “Ergo baby” carrier with my 3rd. I wish I would have found it years ago! It’s amazing. There’s a way to carry a newborn in it also you can wear it on your front, hip or back. It’s designed so that it doesn’t hurt your back at all. I found the snugli brand to really hurt my back after awhile of wearing it, right between the shoulders. The Ergo baby transfers all the weight onto your hips and so you don’t hardly even notice that you’re carrying them. My 3rd is now around 25lbs. we went hiking not that long ago and I carried him in it for 4-5 hours. My back didn’t hurt at all after that. You should really look into it. You won’t regret it. I think it’s also good all the way up to 50lbs or something rediculous.
